If, in spite of security arrangements, Sita was abducted, and after subsequent victory Ram could get her back, the then existing Dharmik(Religious) draconian law for females would NOT allow Sita to be the queen of Ayodhya, as she would be required to pass the dreadful Agni Pariksha test.  And to pass Agni Pariksha test, one needed skills. So what did Ram do?

Parashuram was totally successful in addressing the problem created by Kshatriya, i.e. the persons who were in the army of various kingdoms and who simply kept females for enjoyment and without marriages, and sometimes through abduction.

And there is proof of what is being said. We must remember that after settlement with kshatriyas he preferred to keep Shiv Dhanush (the Weapon of Mass Destruction) with King Janak who was a Kshatriya and not with a Brahmin King Like Ravan.

RAM IS MARYADA PURUSHOTTAM AS A HISTORICAL PERSON SO STOP ABSURD ANSWERS

Maryada means the noblest tradition of that time. Maryada Purushottam can only be discussed in purely historical context after discussing several Maryada of that time. Yet our DharmGurus have managed to inform society why Ram is Maryada Purushottam without discussing a single Maryada. How much more slavish our society could get, and how much more dirty the exploitation would be?

Below we will try to understand the meaning of Maryada, Maryada Purush and Maryada Purushottam, and since history is narrative, it should be easy and we will find out why Shri Ram is called Maryada Purushottam.

WHY WAS DRONACHARYA KILLED DECEITFULLY, ALSO GURUS MANIPULATING DHARM

After the exit of great Bhishm Pitamah from battlefield, Dronacharya was in charge of the forces fighting for Kauravs. Mahabharat war or the WORLD WAR was being fought to decide the identity of humans. Kauravs were all in favor of genetic engineering, human cloning and human farming to be the future identity of human, while Shri Krishna and Pandavs were in favor of natural process of child rearing in mother’s womb to be the identity.

And the war was being fought at different places in world and also in outer space. Already the world was witnessing the effect of this war. There was discomfort, unrest, feeling of hopelessness because of devastation all around. After the exit of Bhishm, Pandavs started feeling that they would be a step closer in winning this war, in case Dronacharya could be removed from battlefield. Pandavs and Shri Krishna also knew that as long as Dronacharya was armed and battle-ready it would be difficult, rather impossible to eliminate him.

If for Lord Krishna the King of Dwarika, decision can be taken by others as to how he and Dwarika would contribute in Mahabharat war, all I can say and summarize is that our Dharm Gurus are teaching us Adharm(irreligious things), which is CRIMINAL, and should be strongly opposed.

It’s true previously when the society was less educated and less informed, everything was accepted as faith with no questions asked, but why today? Suppose India wants to participate in a war, then …
Who will decide how India will participate? The warring parties, or INDIANS, and INDIAN GOVERNMENT?

Kansa was a ruthless king, who had dethroned the earlier King Ugrasen, his father, and thrown him in jail, too. Kans was intent upon killing all the children of Devki, as he feared that the son of Devki would kill him.

Shri Ram was an Avatar of Lord Vishnu, and so were Shri Krishna, and Parashuram and Lord Narsingh. Human avatar means they had definite birth, lived as humans and later left this earth as humans do. There can be NO ambiguity regarding this.

It is true that Puraans, Ramayan and Mahabharat are full of vivid description of use of supernatural powers by these avatars, but those texts are meant for periods when society was less developed, and such societies did not had had the capacity to absorb, or understand the reasons of avatars or the growth and development of the period of Avatars.

This question has taken lot of space in Hindu Dharmic discussions. Some people accept and assign equal importance to Manu Smriti, accepting it at par with other Religious (Dharmic) texts, and yet some even accord it a much greater importance. Manu Smriti accepts caste system and even indirectly, and some say directly blesses it. It also tries to provide rules for Sanatan Dharm, where none exists. Sanatan Dharm (SD) is the only religion of the world which does not bind society following it with rules. Instead, in SD, existing societies, depending on information, growth and development, frames its own civic code.

Kurushetra was used as war-time camps for top commanders and think tank of both sides, and some distinguished ladies were also staying there, chief among them were Maharani Gandhari, Kunti, and Draupadi.

The scientists of today believe that science was much more developed in ancient time, and Hindus have history confirming the same. Rishis, Maharishis were expert in any subject, while Munis, Mahamunis were saintly persons who had renounced worldly pleasures. However both worked for welfare of humanity and environment.
WE understand that with the passage of time some CHANGES do take place. But usually such changes take place when the successive generation, for certain positive or negative reasons, want those changes. One such change that has happened, with the passage of time, is the erosion of difference between what the original difference in meaning between RISHI and MUNI was. Munis were saintly and scholarly persons who have started renouncing physical affects and pleasures. Mahamunis were the one who had renounced all worldly pleasures, had extreme knowledge about at least one subject. ‘Rishis’ were expert in any subject and persons with better knowledge and human and environment friendly approach of the subject. Masters among experts were called ‘MAHARISHI’, and grandmasters, ‘BHRAMRISHI’

Ramayan is history of a period of Treta Yug and is important to understand this history for various reasons. It is history of a period when two Avatars, one after another were required to arrest the self-destructive path humanity was moving then. The same is the case with Mahabharat. Mahabharat too had several mention of Parashuram avatar and His presence is recorded in several episodes.

This is a serious problem needin. Educated, informed society is to be told history of Avatars without supernatural powers g close attention, discussion and solution too.  Remember one thing; for exploitation of any society, the only possible way for religious leaders in any place, anywhere in the world is to convince the society that what they are preaching is as per the respective holy books, and it has to be accepted, with no room for dissent. With a lot of ambiguity and jugglery of words, they will also intimate that this is as per religious text, and that we NEED NOT have the current society as reference point. This is EXPLOITATION. There is NO other word for this. Every religion has reasonable flexibility to ensure that it takes care of the changing demands of the current society.

The war caused widespread destruction, and totally destroyed the social structure and even raised question mark on the survival of humanity. But that was 5000 years earlier. Today we need to accept this piece of history with some pride, not because wars and violence serve any cause, but because this piece of history of the world is preserved by the Hindu society, and there are many lessons for humanity to learn from this history.

Lot of queries is being received about the manner in which Bali was killed. And the reason for this is very clear; readers are not totally satisfied with the answers they have. Most of the queries that we are receiving accept that Ramayan is history of Treta Yug, and also agree that, after accepting Ramayan as history,  every reader has to understand that Vaanars, the evolved humans, were being treated as ‘animals’ by the civilized world, and that they were not even recognized as humans. As such the efforts of Shri Ram to bring them in main-stream civilized life could and would have had some ‘so called grey areas’, where perhaps, Ram could have done much better. Bali VADH was one such incident.

TALK OF WEAPONS CONTROLLED BY SIDDH MANTRAS DURING EARLIER YUGS

There has been lot of talks of how, during the scientific growth of earlier yugs, there were MANTRA CONTROLLED weapons used by individuals. We also hear regular expert comments to this regard from Dharm gurus as to how mantras, in those periods, controlled weapons. Even some TV serials would show such thing.
Nothing wrong in this, in today’s ‘information world’, if full information is passed on to faithful; but that is not happening. The faithful are being provided with only that much information that would keep them loyal and faithful to gurus; repeat loyal and faithful to gurus and it does not matter how much this loyalty would further retard the growth of Hindu society.

We are regularly receiving queries as to how can we ignore the ‘safe keeping’ of Sita by Agni Dev, and subsequent return of Sita by Agni Dev during the so called Agni Pariksha of Sita. Further it is argued that Shri Ram performed Raj Dharm by disowning Sita because of widespread dissatisfaction among the general public of Ayodhya. This, it is pointed out, is unparallel example of respect and honor provided to the wishes of public.  I TOTALLY DISAGREE.

VYAS AGREED TO FATHER SONS FOR KURU DYNASTY ON REQUEST OF BHISHM SATYAWATI

WE have already reported that king Shantanu, married Satyawati, with a specific purpose in mind, that he wanted a normal human issue. And for that he did pay a heavy price by conceding to the demands of Satyawati father. There is an opinion that perhaps Shantanu, being a king, well versed in diplomacy, somehow ensured that such demands are made, so that Bhishm should not become king. But this opinion is countered by the established fact that through cloning and genetic engineering, it was ensured that Bhishm would always obey the wishes of his father. However, the behavior pattern obtained through manipulation of genes, were not yet fully tried, and maybe Shantanu, who was convinced that human cloning, and genetic engineering would destroy humanity,  was  preparing for an alternate arrangement.

Mahabharat is only 5000 years old. And believe me, once we get out of this mental confusion, that Mahabharat is religious text with doubts thrown in, as to whether it is history; we are not going to make much headway. Secondly, Mahabharat was the first known world war, and the entire world was involved in this war, so the proofs already exist, only thing is that we need to connect them with Mahabharat.
So let us end one issue; we agree and accept that Mahabharat is history of the era of Lord Krishna, whom Hindus believe, was an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Once we do that, we will change our mindset, and start evaluating the text, as history, and then we would not be mislead, and arrive at correct results.

We will first discuss who Satyawati was. There are stories that she came out from a fish along with a twin boy, and there are other stories explaining all this. She might have been abandoned there. She was dark in complexion and some sort of foul smell like that of dead fish came from her body. She was adapted by the fisher tribe chief. The fisherman, now her father, also carried goods and passengers across Yamuna and also was involved in fish business.
Maharishi Parashar was an extremely knowledgably persons whose books of knowledge are still in use. The modern day knowledge of Vedant Jyotish is all because of his books which are very popular all over the world. He was masters of many subjects including the interpretation of omens. His thoughts were always focused on future well being of humanity. He had a divine grace and commanded respect from one and all. Perhaps knowledge of Vedant Jyotish made him realize that he is destined to be father of a child, who later on would write the Mahakavya Mahabharat for the benefit of humanity. There were serious shortages of females as well as problem in pregnancy issues, and also successful pregnancy. When we view the period of Maharaj Shantanu keeping this in view, we will be able to understand better the history of that period.
Unlike his predecessor, Shantanu wanted his successor to be his own son. But there were problems, as survival of child through pregnancy and infancy was difficult. By that time human cloning had started, but was yet to get the official recognition from most of the kingdoms. Even Shantanu was opposed to it. but time for human runs out very fast , and though Shantanu was opposed to the use of genetic engineering and human cloning , he consented for having a human clone as child when he, at one stage felt that perhaps, further wait for natural child is futile. “Operation Ganga’ to have a genetically engineered child with genes manipulated in such a way that he would always be his father’s son started in right earnest. The first seven attempts failed. The eight attempt was something unique the team developed; a human child, with multiple replacement organs, who can survive for a long and abnormal period of time. Lord Krishna and Yogmaaya exchanged wombs, ie , at an earlier date of pregnancy,  embryo of Lord Krishna was taken away and replaced by embryo  of Yashoda’s daughter’s .
The five Pandavs were improved humans using genetic engineering. They used their mothers’ womb for growth and development.
Kauravs were actually a much better technology, were a single embryo was developed initially, to later give   birth to multiple humans..

ALL civilizations of the world accept and believe that there was a great flood around 5000 to 10000 years earlier which engulfed the world. Our ancient history also accepts this. Once again it was none other than Manu who escorted the surviving humanity through the difficult time of flood. Subsequently after lot of intermingling, humanity settled once again, and got engaged in the game they knew best: Survival.
However there is little information of post flood period. The only thing we know is that there were serious problems which required Vishvamitra to go on Tap. What were the problems we have no clear idea; we can only guess. There were not enough females left for society to progress and grow. Perhaps progeny too, was an issue; may be a VERY SERIOUS issue. Just as we have in the current period fasts, dharnaas, for creating awareness and asking society to make corrections, so at that time the issue must have been serious, requiring Vishvamitra to go for Tap. It must have been a publicized campaign which did provide result and Vishvamitra too fathered a daughter, through an Apsara called Maneka.
What exactly is an Apsara? Forget the meaning that is given in ancient texts that they are habitants of Swarg or Heaven. We are interested in more “earthly “meaning which can be used in the history that we know as Mahabharat. The meaning can only be with reference to the civil problems that were being faced.

This question has been asked several times and while asking this people assume that during the Trial of Sita , better arguments could have been presented, by the council of Mata Sita.

Some say that Defense should have strongly stated that Agni Pariksha had religious sanctity and as such for the purpose of this particular case that is the trial of Sita, , the existing practice of having successfully undertaken Agni Pariksha test should have been enough, and Sita should not have been disowned.

I would like to remind my friends and well wishers of Sita that WE accept that Mata Sita was an incarnation of Devi Lakshmi. She was on Prithvi for a very specific purpose, and that was to provide level playing field to females and Vaanars. So We as BHAKTS do feel discomfort for the PAIN she had suffered for the sake of Humanity, but this should also motivate us to be Karmic and more conscious of our social obligations.

One must also understand that the realization that the only way Mata Sita could have escaped Disownment was by accepting the result of Agni Pariksha is more PAINFUL, as what we are asking on being emotional is that Shri Ram should have allowed the Draconian rule to exist. That would have DEFEATED the very purpose of Avatar/ Incarnation.

Ramayan is history of Treta Yug. Let us have no doubt about it. However since the earlier period was the period when access to information by the civil society was not that easily available, and India was being ruled by invaders, Ramayan was coated with myths.

During the earlier period when invaders were ruling here and were also involved in forceful conversion, the Saints realized that resistance was futile and the only way Hindu Society could survive was by inward coiling of Hindu Religion. Even serious offence like having forced sex with wife of close relative, like Bhraspati, had NO opposition from Dharm. Shri Ram killed Bali for this offence.

There are still some people who feel; in influence of some unscrupulous Gurus that Shri Ram was forced to stay in forest just because of banishment. True, but we forget that this banishment was arranged by Kaekai, her step mother, who loved and adored Ram.

Ram was there on a mission. He had to settle Vaanars, the evolved humans and also destroy the setup of hatred created by combine of Rakshas and kingdoms, so that, in future a smooth transition of Vaanars into the mainstream of civilized world, could happen. Here we are going to concentrate on Ram Sugrive pact, and discuss this strategically.

The sea water had risen significantly, and a rare astronomical phenomenon occurred, unknown and unobserved by them. The lunar nodes, i.e. Rahu and Ketu are no longer moving in their retrograde motion, which means that moon has stopped changing the orbit, with reference to the apparent path of the Sun. This has resulted in cession of wave movement. The so called churning of sea water has stopped. Rahu and Ketu are dead.

They could anchor, as some hill top, as land, were still there, but what little information they were getting from friendly ships was that there the people were fighting amongst themselves, killing each other, and looting. Humans have never learnt the art of sharing. However human is the most perfect creation of God, which can find ways to survive in extreme difficult circumstances. What exactly is Ram Bashing?

Ram bashing is FALSE blame about ALLEGED atrocities committed by Shri Ram on his wife Sita. He is blamed for asking Sita to undergo the dreadful fire test to test her piousness. This test is called Agni Pariksha. And in spite of her successfully undertaking the FIRE TEST, Ram is blamed for disowning Sita, when she was pregnant. It is alleged that he did this to appease his public. THIS IS FAR FROM TRUTH AND MISCONSTRUCTION OF EVENTS/FACTS. Agreed, members in the general public of Ayodhya felt that after the stay of Sita at Raven’s place, Ram should not accept her as Queen, but this ISSUE was decided FAIRLY by King Ram in an open COURT and in a FAIR trial.

The serious problem is that because of excessive use of interpretations and interpolations in explaining events of Ramayan, these events are combined to FALSELY construct and blame Ram for atrocities on Sita. And that is exactly what Ram Bashing is all about.

We have been deceived in the name of religion for far too long. According to one version, ANJANI the mother of Hanuman was NOT a MONKEY. She was the daughter of Gautam Rishi and Ahaliya. She got pregnant without marriage, and in order to avoid further humiliation she was sent towards Hills, where she gave birth to Hanuman. She handed the child to his rightful father Kesari. It is believed that she was not even allowed to meet Kesari, so she threw Hanuman from a cliff, and Kesari on the ground below caught hold of Hanuman. Since he came by air route, he is also called Pavanputra.

Anjani, became unmarried mother, and was sent to forest, where Hanuman was born. Ahaliya was killed, by her husband, Gautam Rishi. Parashuram father asked his sons to kill their mother. Bhraspati forced his brother’s wife into having sex with him.

There were serious problem of Religious exploitation of females, during pre-Ram era, which required Shri Ram to come as avatar and declare Agni Pariksha as Adharm.

Once we accept this, we will have no problem in understanding why Agni Pariksha of Sita, a highly explosive event became part of Ramayan. And why Shri Ram and Mata Sita established Agni Pariksha as an ADHARM.

We have seriously NEVER tried to access the reason for Lords avatar as Shri Ram. Why? Because then the exploitation of females by religious personalities, prior to the birth of Shri Ram had to be exposed. To access the reason for avatar, we have to first understand the social and geographical condition of those times. Remember one thing; during the initial and early stages of growth of ANY society there has always been exploitation of females and weaker class of persons.

Before that we have to understand the social and geographic condition of Treta Yug, where EVOLVED HUMAN BEINGS, who were called VAANARS, were living in forest and there were Kingdoms too, were normal humans(as we know them) were living. What was THE PURPOSE OF PARASHURAM'S AVATAR?

Who were these KSATRIYAS or Warriors, against which he has to raise his arms 21 times? Important thing to remember here is that Parashuram’s forces were FIGHTING TO KILL the enemy forces, and NOT just to defeat them.

Having ascertained the extent of Barbarianism that prevailed which forced an Avatar as Parashuram, we now have to provide details. There is very little one must admit regarding the details about it in ancient history. The only thing that we have is forcefully taking away belongings of people living in jungle, for instance Kamdhenu was forcefully taken away by warriors of kingdoms. The simple meaning of Kamdhenu is one that fulfils every need.

As far as I am concerned my Ram was neither a criminal nor a hypocrite who would bless the abduction of Sita by requesting Agni Dev for safe keeping, and then ask for Agni Pariksha. As if this was not enough, he would then disown Sita to appease his public and satisfy his hunger for power. No he did no such things.

Hindu text and Dharm has classified Ramayan and Mahabharat as ITIHAAS; the meaning of which is History. Since Hindus firmly believe that Lord Vishnu incarnates in Human form as and when the proportion of Adharm reaches unmanageable level, Ramayan as Itihaas assumes greater responsibility for proper information about Dharm. History can be narrative and in story form, so that it can be understood by a commoner. No serious interpretation is required. All we have to accept and understand is that important events in Shri Ram’s life will provide Dharm.

Hanuman was a VAANAR and certainly not a Monkey

There is still some serious confusion whether Hanuman Jee was a monkey or a Vaanar. Before this question is answered, it is extremely important to translate the Sanskrit word Vaanar. Vaanar as the name suggests means person residing in Van or forest. We know that human being have evolved through the long process of nature called EVOLUTON. Hindu history, however, also accepts that the first lot of humans might be called Creator’s or GOD’s gift to this earth.

Comments: Though living in the forest and having a tail, Hanuman was able to receive education, was highly intelligent, and was as such respected in Vaanar community. So when Vaanars were being sent to search for Sita, and when they reached the coast, it was Hanuman who took upon himself to cross the sea.

It is usually believed that Hanuman crossed the sea by taking a big, long, huge and SUPER NATURAL jump. However this seems unlikely for two reasons

Shri Ram was banished for fourteen years and Mata Sita accompanied him. Whether the banishment was engineered by Shri Ram could be debatable, but the pain that followed was certainly NOT. Staying in forest for a Prince and a Princess for 14 years is painful by any standard. And then the regular fight with Rakshas. And, finally the abduction of Mata Sita; As if this was not enough, the pain of watching Sita tormented by Agni Pariksha, and then disownment of pregnant Sita, after she came back to Ayodhya and became Queen of Ayodhya.

Shri Ram and Devi Sita came on this earth at a very critical time, when Hindu Dharm was threatened by sheer magnitude of quantum of Adharm. Vaanars were treated as animals, although they were evolved Humans. The exploitation of females was unending; with Religious Gurus even using religion for attrocities. Ram and Sita ended all this by establishing Agni Pariksha as an ADHARM.

You have to first believe that Shri Ram was a historical figure and an incarnation of Vishnu and your belief MUST be ABSOLUTE. Secondly you must understand comprehensively that the incarnation of Lord Vishnu was to establish Dharm, and as such every important event in which Shri Ram or Mata Sita was involved would provide a Dharm. Sometimes two event clubbed together would constitute a Dharm.

Before Ramcharitmanas became popular, the entire Hindu scriptures were available, only in Sanskrit.

During that period, Hindu religion was fighting a losing battle for survival. Temples were razed by Muslim rulers on the plea that in their religion, destruction of places of worship of other religion had religious sanctity, forceful conversion was taking place, and unmarried young girls were forcibly taken away. To add to their woes, heavy “jizya” tax was also required to be paid by Hindus.

The other part, too, was also simple. One had to work, with honest and sincere intent, for the progress of his family, his larger family and the society (one can say mohalla, sector, sub sector, area) in which one was living, and show highest respect and regards to females. AND THAT WAS ALL. While the first part (prayer or worship) may or may not guarantee a ticket to Heavens (depending on one’s performance on other part, or one can say outward performance part), a sincere and honest effort in discharging ones duties for the progress of his family, his larger family and the society, guaranteed a ticket to Heavens

II  But one thing becomes absolutely clear; our God does not interfere in the matter of human beings, though he is Almighty. If HE feels certain corrections are required to contain Adharm, HE comes on this earth as Avatar. Rests of the time, we earthlings, have to move ahead, following the DHARM. In other word, put in more simply, Hindu gods, or God will not interfere in our life. We are on our own.

To understand this a bit further, that simply means Goddess Swarsati did not, and will never manipulate the mind of Manthara. Yes, since Shri Ram wanted to go to forest, it was left to him to arrange his passage for forest. And he did this with the help of Kaikai. Then the question that remains to be answered is; why did Goswami Tulsidas, brought the name of Manthara, as the prime culprit?

BALI VADH and MARYADAPURUSHOTTAM Ram

We must remember that for God there is never any Maryada, but a person is bound by traditions, customs and rituals. Maryada is a component of history and once we start judging a person on the bases of Maryadas of that period, we are doing this after we have accepted him as a historical figure of that time. In the case of Shri Ram this confusion must be cleared once and for ever. Some people believe that he was a historical figure, some feel otherwise. This article has been written with full belief and faith that he was a historical figure.

A person who follows the Maryadas of his time is called Maryada Purush. But a person, who goes beyond that, i.e. a person who not only follows Maryada, but is even willing to break them for the sake of larger cause such as humanity and nation is called MARYADAPURUSHOTTAM. Shri Ram is justly called MARYADAPURUSHOTTAM RAM.

Bharat understood that there was no way it was possible as per existing Maryada, and also values dear to Shri Ram, that Shri Ram would even consider returning back, as his stay in forest was decided and (although unwillingly) endorsed by king Dasrath. Bharat was then told by Shri Ram, that similarly he must go and rule Ayodhya, as king, to satisfy the ‘Vachan’ of their departed father.

Several time this had been asked why Kaekai? Why not Manthara with Goddess Swarsati?
I have picture of Shri Ram at my pooja place because I believe that by merely having his picture at my pooja place, I would be relieved of all untimely obstruction in any work I am undertaking / involved in. How can I believe that Goddess Swarsati and Manthara could have done that without Shri Ram’s active participation? Here Ram was present in person and yet Manthara could manipulate the entire royal family. No Ram was actively involved in this and Kaekai did this on behest of her Ram.

As earlier said Kaekai loved and adored Ram. She also had the discriminating power to understand what was being asked for. She knew at heart that God does not belong to any one person, one family. HER Ram was on a mission, and HE needed her help for the sake of humanity and she decided to be on HIS side.

SWAMBER OF SITA

Janak informed the gathering about an accord which had been concluded recently between Shri Ram, the Prince of Ayodhya, and King Ravan, of Lanka, in his presence and the presence of Sage Vishvamitra (Read my earlier post Ramayan and History).

Under this accord Ravan had declared that he had no animosity against any Kingdom.
Ravan personally endorsed this and told everyone that he was equally concerned for all humanity and wanted a safe dismantling of Shiv Dhanush.

II Shri Ram, accompanied by Laxman and Maharishi Vishvamitra was in Janakpuri for the Swamber of Sita. They are here on a very clear mission. The mission was to ensure safe and proper dismantling of Shiv Dhanush- the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. But before reaching the Swamber site, Shri Ram already fell in love with Sita, when he accidently saw her in a garden, on the outskirts of city.

HOROSCOPE OF SHRI Ram

This means that if one is computing the birth chart of the Shri Ram, one of the above three criteria will NOT be met. In case you keep Sun in Aries, and have ninth tithi, Moon would have crossed Punarvasu. In case you place Moon in Punarvasu, mathematically you are not going to get ninth tithi.

If you want to keep Moon in Punarvasu and retain ninth tithi, Sun has to be shifted back further and it recedes from Aries to Pisces. And in Pieces, Sun is not exalted. This, put mathematically, would mean the horoscope cannot be made.

That does not mean we should manipulate, deceive TV channels and people watching them by making false claims. Further research will and should come up with more information so that Shri Ram’s kundli can actually be casted. This is the information Yug, and we can expect answers to all questions pertaining to ancient Hindu history, but please do not make false claims.

This is a disservice and has to be discouraged by all concern.

MY humble submission is that Hindus by and large are afraid to accept Shri Ram as human incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Once we accept Shri Ram as Avatar, who came on this earth for establishing Dharm, we then have to start looking at all important events in which he was involved differently and to find what the Dharm was, which HE tried to establish.

We the mortals know that Shri Ram was an incarnation of Vishnu and Sita that of Goddess Lakshmi. They performed this Leela so that humanity may never have to suffer such dastardly acts in future. IT IS ALSO ABSOLUTELY CLEAR THAT SHRI RAM COULD NOT HAVE DISOWNED SITA WITHOUT REJECTING AGNI PARIKSHA.

HINDU HISTORY... START OF A NEW KALP

One must remember that, as per Hindu history, Manu was the last king at the end of the kalp and carried the generation of people over sea to the next kalp. Whether one calls him Manu, Manush, or Man is insignificant. The thing to remember is Manu’s Smriti is meant for those DESPERATE people who were locked in extreme condition, over sea, fighting for survival. It has no place in current civilized life. To that extent it has been vastly misunderstood. Rules regarding caste, behavior thereon, would start making sense in that context only. It, however, is not relevant in today’s world. It is not meant to be. As of today, the Dharm laid down by Lord Ram and Lord Krishna need to be followed. But, unfortunately, no one tells us what the Dharm is.

However human civilization has always been cruel on other beings. They started exploiting these two legged animals (VAANARS) as slaves, and as animals The exploitation was cruel and inhuman to say the least. Here was the first batch of human beings of the new kalp-very pure and innocent , and the batch of survivors of the older kalp-whose antecedents were not known, were torturing them instead of welcoming them

RAMAYAN AND HISTORY

 After the birth of Shri Ram and when he was about 16 yrs old, Sage Vishwamitra came to meet King Dashrath and requested assistance to bring around Rakshas headed by Ravana to some sort of arrangements so that human being evolving from the animal kingdom, through the long process of humanization may get a chance to survive and grow as civilized societies all around the world. At present they were being eaten up as other animals by Rakshas and were called VANARS. Sage Vishwamitra requested that for his efforts (Yagna) to succeed Shri Ram be allowed to accompany him as he was the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. After much persuasion King Dashrath agreed.

Lakshman along with Shri Ram accompanied Sage Vishwamitra in the forest where Tadaka lived along with her follower. They succeeded in enticing her for war where Shri Ram easily killed her and destroyed her fortress. They also incapacitated Marichi another fearsome Rakshas who was an uncle of Ravana and persuaded him to bring Ravana for negotiation.
Without going into details, the following decisions were taken during negotiation with Ravana in which King Janak also participated as representative of all kingdoms:

VALMIKI RAMAYAN contains lot of additions, alterations made subsequently and accepting the fact that Ramayan, Mahabharat, and all Puraans are also coded, the history that they contain, actually has to be culled out.

RAMCHARITMANAS written by Goswami Tulsidas Ji, also followed the same pattern except that it ignored altogether, the incident of disownment of Sita.
When Shri Ram took Avatar, all important events in which he was involved, as Human, would provide a Dharm.

Agni Pariksha is one such event which Shri Ram established EITHER as DHARM or ADHARM…I WANT YOUR ANSWER ON THIS ISSUE.

Hindus by and large are afraid to accept Shri Ram as human incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Once we accept Shri Ram as Avatar, who came on this earth for establishing Dharm, we then have to start looking at all important events in which he was involved differently and to find what the Dharm was, which HE tried to establish.

Now the question is Why do you want to look for supernatural powers in history where NONE exists?

Let us analyze the events preceding the abduction of Sita as provided in Valmiki Ramayan and what possibly could actually have happened, and for that we need to ignore the use of supernatural powers assigned to various characters.

Agni Pariksha at that time had religious sanctity, Ram actually asked Sita for Agni Pariksha, because as victorious army chief, he wanted to return to Ayodhya with his wife, whose piousness was accepted by religion. After all she was going to be the queen of Ayodhya.

That DOES NOT mean Shri Ram had had any doubt about the character or loyality of Sita.He was simply following a Maryada  or one can say NOBELEST TRADITION of that time.
