DHARM OF SITA LINKING MARRIAGE WITH DISMANTLING OF SHIV DHANUSH

 Shiv Dhanush, a weapon of mass destruction was kept in Janakpuri on behalf of the kingdoms, when Parashuram handed this over. This weapon was in ‘ready to use state’. However because of indiscriminate killing, during wars between kingdoms and Parashuram forces, the technical knowhow as to how to dismantle Shiv Dhanush was not available. Because of regular fight between various kingdoms and Parashuram forces earlier, the kingdoms were now more united and were having regular dialogue to avoid wars...Sita was entrusted with the supervision of Shiv Dhanush. She also agreed willingly for linking her marriage with dismantling of Shiv Dhanush.

These facts do reflect a lot about her thinking and character. Linking her marriage with dismantling of Shiv Dhanush clearly indicate that she was prepared to be a faithful wife of anyone who dismantled the weapon of mass destruction. Human welfare was dearer to her than personal choice. Although she fell in love with Ram, just before swambar, she went through the swambar, with the above declaration, and we know that she would have been a faithful wife of any one, who would have dismantled Shiv Dhanush.

Sita, was extremely concerned, regarding humanitarian issues. The Raj Purohit of Janakpuri, Gautam Rishi was entitled to educate Sita but Sita refused because he had killed his wife Ahiliya.

Understanding the Dharm, from Swambar of Sita, is easy. For princess and queens, the issues can be human welfare, but for an ordinary female this would translate into doing the right thing for the family in which a female is born or married. The Dharm clearly gives strong message that in case of subtle difference in welfare of husband and husband’s family, the female’s responsibility tilts in favor of family. Remember the family links one with the society, the nation and humanity.

The Dharm assumes increasing importance in view of small families that we have now. Ex: one son married and parents and younger siblings of the son also wants to stay with the married couple. But within a short span of time, the son along with his wife moves into a separate place. There is no point in commenting on this, as there can be separate reasons, some heavily in favor of newlywed couple for staying separately. The important thing is that it is the Dharm/responsibility of the female, more than that of son to ensure proper care is being taken of the boy’s family.

This is the Dharm we get from Sita linking her marriage with dismantling of Shiv Dhanush. Every person can easily interpret these, and these Dharm are important in the present context.

If you feel Ramayan is history, you have to remove the coating of myth from this history. Dharm Gurus will NOT do this. why? Because the more the emotional content of religion, the MORE the EARNINGS. 

Hindu religion classifies Ramayan as ITIHAAS, meaning History. That certainly means that no Supernatural or Miraculous powers were available to any of the characters of Ramayan. That also means that for humans, GOD SITTING IN HEAVENS WILL NOT LAY DOWN Dharmic rules, but a NORMAL human, as incarnation, would lay down rules.

That also means every event in which Shri Ram or Mata Sita were involved would provide a Dharm, yet no religious leader has made efforts to tell Hindus about this.

Here we shall be discussing Dharm that we get if we follow the History that is Ramayan. More specifically the Dharm we get when Ram dismantled Shiv Dhanush.

When we start finding out Dharm(s) from Ramayan, we also get an answer whether the void that are in Ramayan and which require construction has been correctly constructed.

After the VADH of Tadaka, Marechi was sent to Lanka to persuade and bring Ravan for negotiations in a fast Vimaan which looked like an arrow. King Janak also participated in the deliberations and one of the things that were agreed was that Weapon of Mass Destruction, Shiv Dhanush would be dismantled immediately. Janak decided that he would arrange a swambar, where the king/prince, whose team could dismantle Shiv Dhanush, would be married to Sita. Read : RAMAYAN AND HISTORY

We know that Ram fell in love after he saw Sita in a garden immediately before the swamber. The love’s visibility was so obvious that even Lakshman could gauge it and felt that Sita would be his Bhabi/Mata.

Now the Dharm today and in Treta Yug was and IS the SAME. Such love need to be pursued to the logical conclusion. Ram had also assessed that Sita was also in love with him. We know that Ram/Lakshman were accompanying Sage Vishvamitra and they had been invited to SEE (not participate in) the swambar. Ram could have directly or indirectly indicated to Sage Vishvamitra his intention to participate in the swambar, but he chooses not to do so.

Why? Was it wrong or right?

As earlier said Ram/Lakshman was on a mission which was being pursued by Sage Vishvamitra, and the mission was not complete. The mission would be complete after satisfactory dismantling of Shiv Dhanush, and maximum number of kingdoms endorsing/consenting to dismantling of Shiv Dhanush. Remember every Yug had its own way of recording a consent or decent. Kings and prince’s participation in the contest would automatically get registered as consent. As such, since Ram was on a serious humanitarian mission, his Dharm forbid him to think of other things except the mission.

The Dharm we get from the fact that Shri Ram did NOT declare his desire to contest is as follows:

When a person is on a mission for Humanity, Nation building, he/she is supposed to remain focused on the mission and under NO circumstances deviate/expect/accept any personal benefit out of it. Shri Ram did just that.

We also know when the entire kings failed to dismantle Shiv Dhanush Shrhei Ram(wn Sage Vishvamitra asked him to do so) dismantled it and claimed Sita’s hand in marriage.

FACTS BEING STATED BELOW ARE BASED ON STATISTICALLY VERIFIABLE PARAMETERS. We do not need terrorists to destroy India. India consists of 80% Hindus, and all one has to do is to increase the emotional content of religion to DESTROY INDIA.

Since Hindus are highly religious, and they take their religion very seriously indeed, in case emotional content of religion is increased, the already PASSIVE Hindu society becomes more passive. This alone is sufficient to destroy India, and UNFORTUNATELY, THIS IS HAPPENING. 

This is a fact and NOT an allegation.

Every religion has 3 essential PERFORMING parts, which are as follows:

1. Pooja or worship

2. Rituals e.g. Havan, breaking of coconut, etc..

3. Physical performing part of the religion, or Dharm, or you can say duties and responsibilities.

As far as Hindus are concerned, the Physical performing part of the religion, or DHARM as some would say, was substantially REDUCED during the last 1000 years of GULAMI, and this is a historical fact. Nothing has been done after independence to change this. This is causing lot of problems in attitude of average Hindu. That is why we are PASSIVE.

Note: I will NOT be providing the STATISTICALLY VERIFIABLE PARAMETERS. Because in case you are passive, you need not bother, in case one demands, the same will be provided, which one can verify EASILY.

What exactly were the reasons which persuaded Hindu Gurus to increase the emotional content of the religion? Remember the below mentioned reasons are serious allegations which SHOULD NOT be dismissed without thorough investigations, because the FACT remains that emotional content of religion has been increased.

REASONS:

1. Glamour, marketability and exportability: Hindus are more emotional than other societies. That is why we have joint Hindu family system, and strong family ties. From time immemorial, every community in the world has an attraction towards miracles and instant relief. See Indian movies in any language, one will find how emotional content is invariably used and reinforced. Whether it is Hero, Heroine, hero’s mother, one would see the 1000 times repeated scene that a visit to a favorite temple or a bhajan will cure all problems. Obviously since we are emotional and passive it improves marketability. Emotional content of religion also has a good export market.

2. Temptation of easy money as reward: it is always easy to flow with the current than to flow against the current. There was a strong emotional base of the Hindu religion at the time of independence. Hindu religious leaders simply carried it forward, as it assured instant reward and no one asked questions. Secondly royalties on book written as such also assured handsome payouts. So why care about Hindu society, and, as bonus, further reward was political patronage.

3. Overseas money of Christian missionaries ensured persuasion in perhaps some cases, maybe in lot more cases then we can imagine: 

This is a very serious allegation and need to be seriously investigated.

Christian missionaries are sending huge money in India, part of which is used for genuine upkeep of their infrastructure and properties including churches, part of this is being used to convert poor and tribal to Christians. But even after this a big part is unaccounted for. Christians, unlike Muslims are not engaged in hate Hindu campaign. Their campaign is more professional. Their target is conversion for which it is necessary that Hindus must remain poor, problems in Hindu society regarding caste, untouchability are not resolved. One can see how successful they have been during the 63 years of independence. Money, is being used to ensure that emotional content of Hindus religion is increased or remain intact. This is certainly not possible until and unless the financial beneficiaries are Hindu Gurus, and others who are in charge of Hindus. 

4. Decrease in emotional content would require increase in karmic content, which never found favor from religious leaders, as since independence there has been strong mutual profitable connection between politics and religion. Politics require even physical(KARMIC) program of parties to be sold through emotional content; for e.g. : 20 point program of Late Shrimati Indira Gandhi successfully sold to masses on GAREEBI HATAOO slogan, and curtailment of emergency powers of government sold on NASBANDI THREAT. 

5. Consumerism: Modern India does not need a lecture on this. Rings, talismans, mantras to ward off evils, are being sold regularly through TV. Tasty and rich food which will not affect the FASTING is now available on shops throughout North India.

Reduction in emotional content of religion to become a reality will require concentrated effort involving all sections of the society. The reason being that 1000 years of Gulami has made us extremely passive and even if we know that what is being told to us is correct, we tend to ignore it as change of passive attitude to less passive would require changes including changes in oneself and his/her values.

Vimaans, scientific growth during Ramayan distorted by Hindu Gurus

Let us get one thing absolutely clear: Scientific growth cannot happen in isolation. It requires education about existing growth, system to share information about growth, and also ‘demand from society, rulers’ for the scientific growth.

As per Surya Sidhanta and Puraans, the various periods of Yugs are as follows:

• SatyaYuga ………..14,40,000 years 
• Treta Yuga………..10,80,000 years 
• Dwapar Yuga………7,20,000 years 
• Kali Yuga………… .3,60,000 years 
• Sandhi Kaal………..7,20,000 years; ..Total duration  = 43,20,000 years.

There are different lengths provided in some texts, and there are other confusions too, regarding whether real time as known to us, or some other definition of time was used which we have NO idea. This requires research and scientific reconciliation. However till such time this is not done, one can use the following on the basis of real time, as we understand:

• Satya Yuga ……………5,18,400 years 
• Treta Yuga…………… 3,88,800 years 
• Dwapar Yuga………… 2,59,200 years 
• Kali Yuga……………...1,29,600 years

Accepting the least figure, when Shri Ram was born, at least 6,00,000 years of the new era had passed. 6,00,000 years is a lot of time, considering that we have only crossed 5000 years of Kalyug, and from a primitive state, from where humanity had started post Mahabharat, we are now fighting a threat of extinction, because of “Scientific growth at the cost of nature and environment”.

Understandably there was scientific growth during that period, too. Ramayan has description of Vimaans, meaning flying machines. However scientific growth cannot happen in one field. This we know for certain on the basis of information we possess. Any growth covers a wide spectrum of areas of interest of society and individual. For e.g., when steam engine was discovered, it covered large requirement of society from use in ships, industries, locos, defense, production of electricity, etc.

Herein-above we were talking of discovery of first stage i.e. steam engine. Flying m/s requires larger sophistication and multiple stages of growth. Obviously if flying machines, i.e. vimaans were there, then there was much larger growth in other fields. For instance, sophistication in weapons, communication, health and medical, general society welfare, was certainly there. This information, about Ramayan, had not been highlighted by Gurus, killing all chances of research in material available and used in TRETA Yug and other allied research.

One fails to understand that, though every Guru wants, that he should be treated at par with God, and would feel insulted if this is not done, then why is there knowledge, and society centric attitude below par?

Ramayan, the history, provides information about scientific growth of that time. However to decipher all those information, one needs to accept and ensure that no SUPERNATURAL or MIRACULOUS powers were available to any characters of Ramayan. Secondly unnecessary interpolations or interpretations, which totally change the facts about Ramayan, are to be avoided. For e.g.: Gautam Rishi became extremely angry for the alleged indecent behavior of Ahiliya, his wife, and the next thing we know is that she was killed. The interpolation used in Ramayan suggests that she was cursed into stone.

Such interpolations or interpretations are not required, as they convert history into myth. They totally hide the real facts of that time and make it look like a period of prehistoric time where certain myths are added such as flying m/s, Hanuman taking a jump to Lanka, and to top it all, Hanuman taking an aerial route, without the benefit of flying m/s to Himalayas.

Remember Ramayan, with SUPERNATURAL or MIRACULOUS powers available to characters of Ramayan is a MYTH, and ensures that possibility of research about the period of Ramayan never takes off, making sure that Hindu society do not get the benefit of its rich historical heritage.

Here is some information about the then growth story apart from Vimaans:

1. When Hanuman Ji was going to Lanka, in search of Sita, it is very clearly mentioned that there was radar there which not only detected intruders, but also automatically dealt with them.

2. During Tadaka Vadh, Shri Ram send Marichee, the uncle of Ravan to bring Ravan for negotiations, providing him a fast flying m/s which looked like an arrow.

3. Hanuman used flying m/s to fetch herbs from Himalayas, and there is proof of it. Tell me where one would lay a trap on ground for a person flying through air. Obviously, where the flying m/s would be refueled or serviced. If Hanuman Ji was flying using supernatural powers, how would Ravan decide where to lay a trap?

4. Note: wherever the word Nag is used, it does not necessarily mean Snake, it also means ‘biological or chemical’ weapons. Similarly, ‘Mantra Siddh’ weapons means, ‘biological/chemical/guided’ weapons. NAGPAASH was a biological/chemical weapon, with could attack an individual from a distance. The potency was extremely toned down, so that it could not become a mass killer. This weapon took time to kill.

5. Garurd was an air borne medical/ ambulance service.

6. If Rakshas were using ‘biological/chemical/guided’ weapons, how could they have been defeated by stone throwing Vaanars? Vaanars were evolved humans who were exploited both by kingdoms and Rakshas, and Ram Lakshman trained them during their stay in forest. Vaanars were also using the then modern weapons.

7. If the wooden sleepers of Shri Ram were placed on the throne of Ayodhya, and since the protocol/sensitivities now and then is the same, the obvious conclusion is that there was sophisticated communication set up between Ayodhya and Ram, as history clearly suggests that no person was acting as a messenger. 

The big question for every one of us to answer is that are we going to commit the PAAP of accepting Ramayan with supernatural powers assigned to the characters, and KILL the scientific growth story and also the various Dharm that we get from Ramayan, and allow Ramayan to be called a myth?

OR

We will accept that NO supernatural powers were available to any of the characters, and ensure that the rich historical heritage that we get after accepting Ramayan as history of humans, is passed on to the legitimate beneficiary of this history, i.e., the Hindu society. In that case the scientific growth story during Ramayan will be accepted by the Hindus, and once they accept this there will be serious research which would benefit the Hindu masses.

Every educated Hindu now has a choice to make. Here Gurus will not help, because they were the ones who were supposed to take initiative for the growth of Hindu society, but, unfortunately, they are the ones who have increased the emotional content of Hindu religion, ensuring that the society moves in negative direction. Why they are doing this is another issue to be discussed exclusively in a separate post.
