God INCARNATES in Human form as RAM and SITA to reduce Adharm

Hindu text and Dharm has classified Ramayan and Mahabharat as ITIHAAS; the meaning of which is History. Since Hindus firmly believe that Lord Vishnu incarnates in Human form as and when the proportion of Adharm reaches unmanageable level, Ramayan as Itihaas assumes greater responsibility for proper information about Dharm. History can be narrative and in story form, so that it can be understood by a commoner. No serious interpretation is required. All we have to accept and understand is that important events in Shri Ram’s life will provide Dharm.
However this fact that “all important events in Shri Ram’s life will provide Dharm” does not go well with Hindu preachers. The reason being that after the advent of TV serials on Ramayan and Mahabharat, it is no longer possible to manipulate Dharm, if they accept ‘all important events in Shri Ram’s life will provide Dharm’. We can straight away understand that Sanskrit and SHLOKS (which only preacher can pronounce and not an ordinary person) are not required to understand Dharm. As such the preachers and the Gurus do not want to simplify things. This is retarding the growth of society.

The other big phobia that is being passed on from generations and which is retarding the growth of the society, and taking us backward too, is the following:-
1. To understand Hindu Dharm, one has to be properly initiated in the process of Hindu Sanatan Dharm. No one can deny that one needs basic information and education about Dharm…BUT WHERE IS THE CENTRALIZED AUTHORITY? How would the masses know that they are NOT being cheated and manipulated by saffron clad Sanskrit verses reciting THUGS?
2. Dharm needs Brahmins, Pundits for performing Rituals associated with it. This is totally WRONG and erroneous. Only the physical performing part of the Religion is classified by ancient Maharishis as Dharm. This does NOT require any Pooja or Rituals. For details one can read my earlier post DHARM and RELIGION3. The response of readers that it is only here that Ramayan as a part of ancient history, can actually be accepted and understood as HISTORY, exposes the reason why, statistically, Hindu society is moving downhill. Manipulation of Hindu society by religious preachers and Gurus is the root cause and it is increasing.
No one after reading the post : HINDU HISTORY... START OF A NEW KALP, has had any problem in accepting the VAANARS to be Humans growing and developing in forests. If one just give this a thought one will find that incarnation, completely eliminates the need of Guru or preachers, as Dharm being simple could be understood by everyone. Religious PROPAGATORS, OR GURUS, because of their NON-SOCIETY-CENTRIC ATTITUDE are unable to accept even the real meaning of Incarnation. Incarnation means accepting characters in Ramayan and Mahabharat as humans having NO SUPERNATURAL or MIRACULOUS powers.

DHARM or RELIGION has to be made simple; And it is SIMPLE. Please DO NOT DECIEVE the Masses. Dharm or Hindu Religion (the physical performing part), can be taught by any preacher in any language, and it is NOT necessary that the preacher should know Sanskrit. However one has to understand that edition Valmiki’s Ramayan, which is the basis of all subsequent Ramayan(s), in various languages, was produced by sages for Kalyug about 4500 yeas earlier. After that no further edition has been received. We know that after Mahabharat, civilized society was completely destroyed by Barbarianism and natural calamities.

As such, at around 2500 BC, Stone Age started, with no known history because of the massive destruction. Surely these Stone Age Humans, in order to reach here, must have passed through various stage of growth, agony, attitude to accept or reject certain things, pertaining to religion and other issues. Considering the above circumstances it is indeed credible that Ramayan did not go through massive misinterpretation.

However certain interpretations which were used till now must give way to more realistic and actual interpretations. At places Valmiki Ramayan contains explanations (which has nothing to do with actual event, and as such can be ignored), which were used earlier when less information was available, but why are they being used now is serious manipulation. Ex: During Agni Pariksha of Sita, Agni Dev testified about purity of Sita. Please note this is an explanation and has no use in information age.

I repeat, DharmGurus, are manipulating real meaning of Incarnation. Incarnation means accepting characters in Ramayan and Mahabharat as humans having NO SUPERNATURAL or MIRACULOUS powers. We must connect Dharm with the welfare of Hindu Society…But so far this is missing.

All readers and Hindu Society must do something.

Hanuman was a VAANAR and certainly not a Monkey

There is still some serious confusion whether Hanuman Jee was a monkey or a Vaanar. Before this question is answered, it is extremely important to translate the Sanskrit word Vaanar. Vaanar as the name suggests means person residing in Van or forest.
We know that human being have evolved through the long process of nature called EVOLUTON. Manu, who had ended his journey at the start of the Kalp, did provide to the new Kalp/Mahayug some Human being who had managed to survive the fury of Sea life. They started living in areas, after clearing it and creating shelters from weather and seasons.
After a fairly long period of time, in the forest, after the evolution of various animals, human beings also evolved. They had tails, were fearsome, but simple. The older generations of mankind were now living in settlements. These were called kingdoms. They refused to recognize the evolved humans in forest as Humans. For details one can read : HINDU HISTORY... START OF A NEW KALP

They were called VAANARS as they had evolved in VAN, which is the Sanskrit name of forest.

Though living in the forest and having a tail, Hanuman was able to receive education, was highly intelligent, and was as such respected in Vaanar community. So when Vaanars were being sent to search for Sita, and when they reached the coast, it was Hanuman who took upon himself to cross the sea.

It is usually believed that Hanuman crossed the sea by taking a big, long, huge and SUPER NATURAL jump. However this seems unlikely for two reasons:

1. There is mention of some type of Radar system installed in Lanka, which could identify flying objects. Hanuman, in order to avoid that must have walked and swam while crossing during low tide. It is mentioned that Hanuman destroyed this…TRUE! But why would Hanuman ji destroy this while going to Lanka, and jeopardize the entire operation? And how would he destroy this? He was on the other side of the Lanka coast while going to Lanka. He did destroy this while returning, as then it is clearly mentioned he destroyed lot of things in Lanka, and some must have been extremely strategic.

2. It is clearly mentioned that while going towards Lanka, he was threatened by a huge fish. Fish is water born creature and large fish can only be found in sea and not in air space.

No, Hanuman ji swam across sea, walking where ever the water was less, and as such he reached Lanka undetected. Here in water, he could hide his body by partially submerging under water, and could remain undetected.

The other thing that is slightly off track, but needs mention here is that the bridge or RAM SETU was built by Vaanars, and not by monkeys. As such RAM SETU is manmade and certainly NOT monkey made.

The other issues pertaining to Vaanars need an answer in this post is:

Why did Ram refuse permission to Angad when he so desperately wanted to stay in Ayodhya?

We have already mentioned that there was animosity between Kingdoms and settlements in Jungle of Vaanars. The hatred and mistrust between people living in forests and people living in kingdom was so serious that the people of Ayodhya would have seriously opposed the permanent stay of Angad in Ayodhya as he had not taken an oath of Bhramcharya, while, since Hanuman had already promised that he would never marry and have children, was acceptable to people of Ayodhya.

This fact should not be missed by the rulers of democratic India. Hindus are in majority over here and there views and feelings must be taken into account while granting Visa to non Indians.

Pain of being RAM and SITA

Avatar like Ram and Sita were necessary to provide human status to Vaanars, then treated as animals, and reduce atrocities on females by abolishing draconian law having religious sanctity, like Agni Pariksha, which were used to prove chastity of females, in which females sometimes died.
Shri Ram and Devi Sita were incarnation of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi respectively. They came on this earth at a very critical time, when Hindu Dharm was threatened by sheer magnitude of quantum of Adharm. Vaanars were treated as animals, although they have developed through the process of evolution. The then developed world (or Kingdoms, as one would like to call them; read Hindu History..Start of a New Kalp) refused to recognize them as Humans in spite of Lord Parashuram’s fierce combats, and punishments.

Females were most shabbily treated and exploited by the Kingdoms. Any male who wanted to get rid of his wife has to charge his wife with adultery and the then so called Dharm (or Adharm?)would take care of the rest. She would be forced to pass the dreadful Agni Pariksha test where she would usually die. On the other hand Rakshas, being Human flesh eaters, were causing havoc in the forest, where Rishis and these Vaanars dwelled.

We all know that Lord Vishnu COMES on this earth to correct the Adharm excesses, as and when Adharm reaches gigantic proportion and becomes unmanageable.

However this is not always without pain. If one reads Ramayan, one could feel the pain, which must have been felt, by both Shri Ram and Mata Sita, during their journey through this earth.

Shri Ram was banished for fourteen years and Mata Sita accompanied him. Whether the banishment was engineered by Shri Ram could be debatable, but the pain that followed was certainly NOT. Staying in forest for a Prince and a Princess for 14 years is painful by any standard. And then the regular fight with Rakshas. And, finally the abduction of Mata Sita; As if this was not enough, the pain of watching Sita tormented by Agni Pariksha, and then disownment of pregnant Sita, after she came back to Ayodhya and became Queen of Ayodhya.

Ramayan is full of pain for both Ram and Sita. Yet we have not appreciated their sufferings and pain for Humanity. We simply remember them by burning the effigy of Ravan during Dusshera, and also remember them, as and when we need their blessings. However apart from all the pain they got in their life time the new pain that they are getting is much more serious.

People of Kalyug are not appreciating that the pain they suffered was to establish Dharm, and Dharm can only be established by providing examples. Both Shri Ram and Mata Sita were not allowed to say that they were incarnation of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, they were supposed to act and behave as normal human being, which they did. The establishment of Dharm or abolition of Adharm was only carried out by them by their exemplary behavior.

People tend to forget that after the disfiguring of Surpnakha, Ravan was bound to fight with Ram even if Sita was not abducted. But after the abduction of Sita, the existing maryada was such that Ram was forced to ask for Agni Pariksha, although he was there to abolish Agni Pariksha.

Let us summarize the sequence of events:

The first thing one would notice is that a new Kalp had started with Satya Yug. There were some people whose several generations have sailed over water and had entered this new Yug. Others were evolving through the process of evolution like Vaanars. It was early time for human development.

There were certain draconian laws and tests, which existing at those times. Some such laws/tests were not followed by general public, but they nevertheless became religious belief and were considered noblest as everyone could not follow them. Agni pariksha was one such test. People and religious leaders were forcing females, charged with adultery to take this test, in which such females would invariably die. Since the belief had become religious, it was important to abolish it, and abolish it in such a way, that people of all time to come should remember this. For this a very powerful and highly respectable person was needed. And what better person than Chakravarti Samraat Shri Ram, who, also established RAMRAJYA.

MY humble submission is that Hindus by and large are afraid to accept Shri Ram as human incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Once we accept Shri Ram as Avatar, who came on this earth for establishing Dharm, all important events in which he was involved, as human, would provide a Dharm. We will then have no problem in accepting that Shri Ram and Mata Sita were performing LEELA.

Now how did Ram abolish Agni Pariksha as an ADHARM?

Agni pariksha at that time was the finest and noblest Maryada(or tradition) to determine the chastity of a woman. Now how could Ram declare this as Adharm? As victorious army chief he asked Sita for Agni pariksha, but as soon as he became King, he decided the ALLEGED VOLUNTARY stay of Sita at Raven’s place on the basis of physical evidence only, and after, declaring Agni Pariksha as ADHARM(read : AGNI PARIKSHA OF SITA ....FACTS).

Mata Sita was disowned by Shri Ram, so that females never ever have to suffer the fear and pain of dreadful Agni Pariksha.

ABOUT MY BLOG: One has to accept that Hindus, though, highly religious, are not getting desired result as a society. Female feticide, lack of education for girls, dowry deaths, suicides among farmers, increase in court cases among relatives, corruption, mistrust and discontent, are all physical parameters to measure the effectiveness or success/failure of RELIGION, in a society. And all this, despite the fact, that spending on religion, by Hindus, has increased drastically after the advent of multiple TV channels. There is serious problem of attitude of every individual which need to be corrected. Revival of Hindu religion, perhaps, is the only way forward.

I am writing how problems, faced by Indian people can be sorted out by revival of Hindu Religion.
