Daksh the Prajapati tried to be a perfectionist; he initiated efforts to create a perfect SHRISHTI(evolution of nature, animals, plants, creatures) so that it may not EVER face destruction, and Lord Shiv may have no further role to play as God, but that got destroyed by her daughter, sacrificing her life in the YAGNA area (area where those efforts were being made).
The destruction/death of Sati, who signifies PRAKRITI, meaning ‘all things created or to be created by evolution’, destroyed the perfectionists’ plan of a ‘so called’ perfect creation. Death of Sati signified death of ‘balance of Surs and Asurs (Sur means Harmony and Asur mean Disharmony)’, and the entire earth was in turmoil with no visible life in sight.
This continued for millions of years, and resulted in increase in height of Himalayas.
But that was the end of trying to make Sanatan Dharm religion of perfectionists, and binding it with all type of rules. Sanatan Dharm is the only religion in the world with least amount of rules, and with enough flexibility, plus ‘not normally implemented’ provision of committee of experts called Saptrishis, to oversee the implementation of Dharm with reference to the growth, and demands of the current society.
The implantation of Saptrishis Samiti is USUALLY aborted and forgotten so that the society can be manipulated, with no questions asked.
‘Perfection is momentary and Chaos eternal’, and Hindus believe in Chaos. Sanatan Dharm the ETERNAL Dharm believes in Chaos. Puraans contain lot of material on SUR and ASUR, i.e., on harmony and disharmony, and this part text is Scientific rather than Religious. However Sur and Asur had been dealt in a separate post already, namely: HINDU SOCIETY MUST KNOW THAT RAKSHAS ARE DIFFERENT FROM ASURS
so we can discuss Chaos and Perfection over here. Remember Religions which believe in Perfection and RULE-BASED and and as such find it difficult to adjust to demands of currect society, where as Sanatan Dharm believes in Chaos and is NOT rule based and is Current Society Centric.
An example would help in understanding, what is being said.
Initially the society was kingdom sensitive, and it respected the boundaries of the kingdom. It was Chanakya who talked of 'NATIONALISM', and got positive response from lot of persons who were in power/or in a position to influence decisions. This happened about 2300 years ago, and because Sanatan Dharm has lot of flexibility and is always pro-current society, it could easily accept this change.
On the other hand 600 years earlier, Joan of Arc, a 19 year old peasant girl talked of nationalism in France, and also motivated French people to fight against English people, was tried by the CHURCH and BURNT ALIVE AS WITCH.
This clearly explains the difference in Sanatan Dharm and other religions. However Sanatan Dharm has not performed all that well on numerous occasions because of absence of central disciplinary committee, so established right from inception, called Saptrishis committee, and the recent slavery of 1000 years is ample proof of the same. The Dharm gurus and religious heads forgot about nationalism and could not unite, and followed the path of personal gains which was self destructive.
Lot of other examples can be provided.
Now, let us talk about chaos.
Sanatan Dharm is the only religion in the world which talks of:
Harmony, analogy, rhythm, SUR, on the one hand, which takes one towards perfection,
And,
Disharmony, incongruity, unrhythmical, ASUR, on the other; which takes one towards Chaos.
Sanatan Dharm accepts the importance of both, and does not believe in perfection, but in Chaos.
To further understand this, Shukracharya is the Guru of Asurs, and he alone has the knowledge of Sanjeevnee Vidhya, i.e. the ability to revive the dead. This is worth giving a deeper thought, as this makes us understand why ‘poison’ is marked on so many medicines, and why they are actually made from poison.
Surs , Asurs actually indicate Evolutionary trend which are scientifically important as the increase in Asurs invariably cause HAVOC in NATURE.
Please understand and respect Sanatan Dharm. Please make your Dharm Gurus understand that they can only move forward by accepting current Hindu Samaj as reference point.
Given below is the definition of Sanatan Dharm and Dharmic person:
