PROBLEMS OF HINDU BLOGGERS..1

Lot of peoples are writing blogs about the problems that are being faced by the Hindus in India. Since 80% of the population is Hindu, and we have a Democracy, the problems, and the feeling “that we are being overlooked because of the government’s policy of appeasement” becomes extremely serious.
Since we are living in the information age, we have information, from statistic of Govt. of India, that the Hindu society is moving downwards.
NOW WHAT EXACTLY PEOPLE WHO ARE WRITING BLOGS COULD DO?

First let us look at the summarized profile of the people who are writing blogs for the welfare of Hindus. Some are those who have committed themselves for this, others are bread winners for their families and yet finding time to write, and yet some are deeply committed individuals who have retired, and are devoting full time for this. The important thing to note is that every one of them has an acceptable level of commitment. Yet we, as a blogging community have so far FAILED MISERABLY, to make any noticeable difference in the quality of life of Hindus.

My suggestion is, as starters, we must interact more often, at least through emails and find out methods to make the difference.

THEN WHAT COULD BE THE REASON FOR THIS FAILURE?
The reason for failure could be many. Of course, other blogger too, have to write about their views. I can only give mine.

1. The interference of “purists”.

2. Our posts are read only partially by people.

3. There is no centralized authority to discuss suggestions through these blogs, and also views of other eminent persons, and act on it.

4. Hindu Dharmic literature is far too large and as such people having studied this from different sources propagate the Dharm differently, creating confusion.

5. Hindu bloggers are not interacting to find out how best to make the difference.

6. Even sanghparivar.org the site of interaction by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh does not even have a monitoring cell to see how best to channelize these efforts. This creates UNDUE and UNNECESSARY confusion. I will give you two examples:

One of my post at SANGHPARIVAR.ORG, namely Horoscope of Shri Ram clearly states that mathematically and astronomically (as of now), horoscope of Shri Ram cannot be made, and that we have to wait for some more time for actual and physical astronomical data of Treta yug…….

Sometimes earlier, I saw one post in General Discussion Forum of SANGHPARIVAR.ORG stating that Shri Ram was born on 5114 BC and that he had casted the horoscope. He however did not give the horoscope chart……. Now anyone, if monitoring SANGHPARIVAR.ORG site would have realized that one of the two is wrong and misleading and could have taken remedial action for maintaining quality and avoiding confusion.

My other post ‘Mahashivratri’ in which I felt that the festival was celebrated wrongly on 12th feb., this year, was submitted at VHPsampark.org. In this post I have clearly stated astronomical and other physical parameters, which, I thought, are required to celebrate this festival. Yet no one has replied, and this is sad since ORGANIZATIONS OF EVERY OTHER RELIGION PROVIDE SUCH INFORMATION AT EVERY CHURCH OR MOSQUE.

I do not want to make this post too long. Suggestions of every Hindu blogger and everyone else are required.

IF WE CANNOT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE IN THE QUALITY OF HINDU SOCIETY, I AND EVERY OTHER BLOGGER, BLOGGING FOR HINDU CAUSE WOULD FEEL DEFEATED.

bohzo (Hello) my friend

We all suffer greatly in some form and fashion. It is sad what you write about. Change takes hundreds of years, you and I will both be gone before we see many of the changes.

My culture teaches me that everything happens in a circular way, the horrors of the past will come back in the future.

Human beings fail eachother terribly often. These days we live in are some of the darkest days for many. I got your message about writing something, but am afraid with personal life is in a bad state of affairs due to a recent passing so when I feel better I can venture back to doing such a thing.

My email is tweetybird@hushmail.com
Have a great day!

One must have faith in God. Things which are happening in one’s life invariably lead the person to next higher stage of growth.

Remember God never punishes anybody…one’s action does.

As the development of the modern age, people tend to like things that are practical especially to the young generation. I think, modern lifestyle is also one of the things that play the role.

Thanks for your support and encouragement. When one is dealing with problems of society, one has to take a larger perspective and view with a longer time frame.

Dear Kulbhushan Singhal,

Did you suppose that modern lifestyle will slowly penetrating the previously custom culture, so elderly has to take a larger perspective and view with a longer time frame. How big this power for filtering the unpleasant modern lifestyle from the younger.

As in Indonesia, I ever seen that some section / step of the custom marriage ritual has been skipped for practical reason and cost.

No, I have no comments for modern lifestyle. Changes will be there, and we have to be mature enough to accept them. Of course religion and the society has to ensure proper values.

A people is modern or old, it's not a fact to me. He/She should be good manner.

ABOUT ME:

A Consulting Engineer, operating from Mumbai, involved in financial and project consultancy; also involved in revival of sick establishments.

ABOUT MY BLOG: One has to accept that Hindus, though, highly religious, are not getting desired result as a society. Female feticide, lack of education for girls, dowry deaths, suicides among farmers, increase in court cases among relatives, corruption, mistrust and discontent, are all physical parameters to measure the effectiveness or success/failure of RELIGION, in a society. And all this, despite the fact, that spending on religion, by Hindus, has increased drastically after the advent of multiple TV channels. There is serious problem of attitude of every individual which need to be corrected. Revival of Hindu religion, perhaps, is the only way forward.

I am writing how problems, faced by Indian people can be sorted out by revival of Hindu Religion.
