Mahabharat is only 5000 years old. There were serious shortages of females as well as problem in pregnancy issues, and also successful pregnancy. When we view the period of Maharaj Shantanu keeping this in view, we will be able to understand better the history of that period.

Unlike his predecessor, Shantanu wanted his successor to be his own son. But there were problems, as survival of child through pregnancy and infancy was difficult. By that time human cloning had started, but was yet to get the official recognition from most of the kingdoms. Even Shantanu was opposed to it. but time for human runs out very fast , and though Shantanu was opposed to the use of genetic engineering and human cloning , he consented for having a human clone as child when he, at one stage felt that perhaps, further wait for natural child is futile. “Operation Ganga’ to have a genetically engineered child with genes manipulated in such a way that he would always be his father’s son started in right earnest. ALL civilizations of the world accept and believe that there was a great flood around 5000 to 10000 years earlier which engulfed the world. Our ancient history also accepts this. Once again it was none other than Manu who escorted the surviving humanity through the difficult time of flood. However there is little information of post flood period. The only thing we know is that there were serious problems which required Vishvamitra to go on Tap. What were the problems we have no clear idea; we can only guess. There were not enough females left for society to progress and grow. Perhaps progeny too, was an issue; may be a VERY SERIOUS issue. Just as we have in the current period fasts, dharnaas, for creating awareness and asking society to make corrections, so at that time the issue must have been serious, requiring Vishvamitra to go for Tap. DEVON KE DEV –MAHADEV has shown marriage of Lord Shiv with Goddess Parvati. The marriage was to be performed on the auspicious occasion of MAHASHIVRATRI. The question this post will attempt to answer is ‘whether Mahashivratri is an auspicious tithi for marriage?’

First let us understand some basic rules for finding auspicious tithis. Auspiciousness cannot be decided in isolation, it is linked with event. Marriage is linked with future well being and prosperity of married couple. It is important that both male and female find harmonious compatibility and future well being as per the astrological chart of the marriage time.  In astrology, all physical affects are provided by Moon, and the first rule is to find tithi when Moon is strong. Moon is generally strongest on full moon day and its strength gets proportionately reduced as it moves toward Amavasya or New Moon day. As such Moon on 13^th or 14^th tithi of dark fortnight is very close to Amavasya or New Moon day and only a tiny crescent of Moon is visible. Auspiciousness, as per Vedanta Jyotish, requires that moon must be at least 60 deg. away from sun, i.e. it should not have crossed 10^th tithi of dark fortnight

We are living in an information age. One of the reasons why Hindu society is passive is because Hindu Gurus are not providing the correct information.

Lot of confusion exists because Rakshas and Asurs are branded and declared as one and the same thing. This is far from truth.

Before venturing any further, let us get the correct definitions of Rakshas and Asurs:

Rakshas: A human who has started consuming human meat. To that extent only, they are different from other humans.

Asurs: Just as mountains(Himalaya), Rivers(Ganga, Sarswati , etc), Nakshatra (Swati, Rohini, etc) have all been provided human body to explain away certain characteristics, so are the Asurs or “DISHARMONY” in nature, within the earth , outside the earth , or in the cosmos.

GLORIFICATION OF SATYAYUG IS WITH INTENTION TO EXPLOIT HINDU SOCIETY

Problem is that in this information age, we can construct Satyayug, and decide on our own if it was BEST or WORST Yug for humans. But no one wants to do that. Remember people can object to right or wrong views for EMOTIONAL reasons but it becomes difficult to object to right views on PHYSICAL PARAMETERS. This is important for every educated Hindu to understand, because physical parameters indicate, Hindu society is going down as per verifiable parameters and Dharm Guru gaining unprecedented wealth and power. So, something is wrong; do not trust anyone; find it out on your own.

Can God destroy or kill any one for emotional reasons? Was it the MALA FIDE intent of TV channel, to further cause or be reason for increasing the emotional content of religion, and there by destroy the Hindu Samaaj?

Remember we have all along said that after independence, the already excessive existing emotional content of Hindu religion was further increased by Hindu Gurus to keep the Hindu society PASSIVE. This helped to manipulate the Hindu Society politically, and also allows Guru to easily build disciple base and expand their influence.

Any social scientist will tell you that emotional content after a certain limit would make the entire society PASSIVE.  We did publish a post titled HINDU GURUS RAISED THE EMOTIONAL CONTENT TO MAKE HINDU SOCIETY MORE PASSIVE 

and it was objected by religious bosses within the  Hindu society . What exactly is happening now? If TV channels are any indicator, one can see the content of all religious serials, and you will see that they are loaded and designed to increase the emotional content of religion. This also helps in marketing various services designed to solve problems using religion.

SATYAYUG WAS THE WORST YUG FOR HUMANS TO LIVE

सत्ययुग सबसे खराब युग था मानव और मानव समाज के लीये 
Hindu Religion Gurus; STOP THIS HYPOCRISY. Satyayug was the WORST Yug for Humans to live as per Hindu Shastras. The Only reason why SATYAYUG Is being glorified is to ensure that Non Performance of persons associated with any manner with religion preaching can be explained. After Independence this has been used to exploit Hindu Society and get away with NO QUESTIONS ASKED. The verifiable parameters certify this. After Independence, Hindu Society has become poorer, while the wealth of Hindu Gurus and trusts owned by them has improved significantly and stands second in ranking. Some achievement by our Dharmic (Religious) Gurus! Today they are the most powerful in India because of their wealth and political connections.


Please ask any social scientist anywhere in the world and you will get this answer: No Society can progress if their Dharmic Gurus have already started Dharmic preaching with negative frame of mind. But that is the way things stand in Hindu Society and WE HAVE TO CHANGE THIS.



DID RAM HAD ANY OPTION OTHER THAN TO DISOWN SITA

This question has been asked several times and while asking this people assume that during the Trial of Sita , better arguments could have been presented, by the council of Mata Sita.


Some say that Defense should have strongly stated that Agni Pariksha had religious sanctity and as such for the purpose of this particular case that is the trial of Sita, , the existing practice of having successfully undertaken Agni Pariksha test should have been enough, and Sita should not have been disowned.


I would like to remind my friends and well wishers of Sita that WE accept that Mata Sita was an incarnation of Devi Lakshmi. She was on Prithvi for a very specific purpose, and that was to provide level playing field to females and Vaanars. So We as BHAKTS do feel discomfort for the PAIN she had suffered for the sake of Humanity, but this should also motivate us to be Karmic and more conscious of our social obligations.


One must also understand that the realization that the only way Mata Sita could have escaped Disownment was by accepting the result of Agni Pariksha is more PAINFUL, as what we are asking on being emotional is that Shri Ram should have allowed the Draconian rule to exist. That would have DEFEATED the very purpose of Avatar/ Incarnation.

NARSINGH AVATAR – NARSINGH WAS AN EVOLVED HUMAN

There have been some discussions in various forums regarding our contention that Narsingh was an evolved Human. 


The fact that most of the descriptions of Narsingh Avatar state that Lord Narsingh emerged from a Pillar, automatically accord supernatural powers to the Avatar. Then what is the use of avatar? Why do we not accept that Lord Vishnu came to save HIS Bhakt/disciple/faithful Prahlad , and God is all powerful, and HE is NOT bound by any rules; but Avatar is.


WHAT THEN IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AVATAR AND GOD?


These are the questions that need answering as we are now in the information age. Secondly Hindu Society is extremely PASSIVE, and everyone knows that one of the reasons for Passiveness is that Hindu Gurus, in order to improve ‘marketability’ are increasing the Emotional content of Dharm, replacing the Karmic content.


Avatars by definition are NORMAL humans who by their Society Centric behavior, set examples to be followed by all humanity. Some say that because of their exemplary behavior they are accepted as Avatar. Others, like me, believe that as and when there is serious problem threatening the existence of Humanity, Lord Vishnu incarnates to make the necessary corrections. It is for the viewers to judge that whether Lord Narsingh was an Avatar or God who suddenly evolved from pillar to punish and kill Hirnakashyap. 


REMEMBER, Human Avatar has to follow the rules of SHRISHTI, i.e Evolution, which means definite birth and growth as human. Human Avatar CANNOT emerge from pillar, OR we need to redefine Avatar, and find out how the new definition would help Society. 


Dharmic Preachers have to understand NOW, that in this information age, we need the right proportion of emotional and Karmic content, and that,  for personal gains and benefits, we cannot DESTROY the Hindu Society by INCREASING the emotional content. 


Hindu Society is already suffering and it is the duty of Religious Preachers or Dharm Gurus to REDUCE the emotional content of the Preached religion and replace it by Karmic content.

Kalyug is called the Yug of Karma. The only thing that gives result in Kalyug is Karma. Karma here does not mean action alone, it means positive action. Take the example of 1000 years of invaders rule. There were relative smaller kingdoms and lot of them. But they could not unite against invading forces, resulting in arson, looting and slavery. It was not that the Indian rulers did not fight. They fought and fought bravely, but they lost because they were NOT united.

We would like to state once again that Kalyug is the best Yug for humanity to live. The earlier post has discussed this very issue using cyclic theory and theory of rebirth as parameters.

Here we will discuss this using the remaining two parameters which are as follows:

1. On the basis of numbers of avatars in that Yug
2. On the basis of Vedanta Jyotish.


KALYUG IS THE BEST YUG FOR HUMANS TO LIVE

Kalyug is the best Yug for humans to live. This is NOT being said because we are living in this Yug, but because THIS IS A FACT. And this fact is so strong, loud and clear, that it can speak on its own. Secondly one can name any parameters, and we will find, using those parameters, that what has been said is correct. Remember, previously before independence, to CUSHION the atrocities committed on Hindus, the victim, his family were consoled by stating that this is happening because we were living in Kalyug. But why the same statement, earlier used to cushion the atrocities, being used now, after independence? 


It only helps in increasing the PASSIVE attitude of Hindus, resulting in INCREASE in poverty in Hindu society, though it does help in increase of wealth and POLITICAL AND MANIPULATIVE POWER of Hindu Gurus.  


Here we will decide following the accepted Hindu parameters how correct the above statement is. Since the concept of Yugs is totally a Hindu theory, we will NOT find parameters elsewhere except in Hindu philosophy.

Ramayan is history of Treta Yug. Let us have no doubt about it. However since the earlier period was the period when access to information by the civil society was not that easily available, and India was being ruled by invaders, Ramayan was coated with myths.

During the earlier period when invaders were ruling here and were also involved in forceful conversion, the Saints realized that resistance was futile and the only way Hindu Society could survive was by inward coiling of Hindu Religion. As such the KARMIC part of the religion was diluted and replaced by EMOTIONAL part.




ANALYSIS OF METHOD OF GOD AS AVATAR TO DECLARE AGNI PARIKSHA AS ADHARM

During the avatar of Lord Vishnu as Shri Ram and Goddess Lakshmi as Mata Sita, among many things that they did for humanity, they also abolished Agni Pariksha. The sea water had risen significantly, and a rare astronomical phenomenon occurred, unknown and unobserved by them. The lunar nodes, i.e. Rahu and Ketu are no longer moving in their retrograde motion, which means that moon has stopped changing the orbit, with reference to the apparent path of the Sun. This has resulted in cession of wave movement. The so called churning of sea water has stopped. Rahu and Ketu are dead.

They could anchor, as some hill top, as land, were still there, but what little information they were getting from friendly ships was that there the people were fighting amongst themselves, killing each other, and looting. Humans have never learnt the art of sharing. However human is the most perfect creation of God, which can find ways to survive in extreme difficult circumstances. What exactly is Ram Bashing? 


Ram bashing is FALSE blame about ALLEGED atrocities committed by Shri Ram on his wife Sita. He is blamed for asking Sita to undergo the dreadful fire test to test her piousness. This test is called Agni Pariksha. And in spite of her successfully undertaking the FIRE TEST, Ram is blamed for disowning Sita, when she was pregnant. It is alleged that he did this to appease his public. THIS IS FAR FROM TRUTH AND MISCONSTRUCTION OF EVENTS/FACTS. Agreed, members in the general public of Ayodhya felt that after the stay of Sita at Raven’s place, Ram should not accept her as Queen, but this ISSUE was decided FAIRLY by King Ram in an open COURT and in a FAIR trial. 


The serious problem is that because of excessive use of interpretations and interpolations in explaining events of Ramayan, these events are combined to FALSELY construct and blame Ram for atrocities on Sita. And that is exactly what Ram Bashing is all about.


Vaanars were not monkeys but evolved humans in Ramayan

We have been deceived in the name of religion for far too long. According to one version, ANJANI the mother of Hanuman was NOT a MONKEY. She was the daughter of Gautam Rishi and Ahaliya. She got pregnant without marriage, and in order to avoid further humiliation she was sent towards Hills, where she gave birth to Hanuman. She handed the child to his rightful father Kesari. It is believed that she was not even allowed to meet Kesari, so she threw Hanuman from a cliff, and Kesari on the ground below caught hold of Hanuman. Since he came by air route, he is also called Pavanputra.

Anjani, became unmarried mother, and was sent to forest, where Hanuman was born. Ahaliya was killed, by her husband, Gautam Rishi. Parashuram father asked his sons to kill their mother. Bhraspati forced his brother’s wife into having sex with him. 
There were serious problem of Religious exploitation of females, during pre-Ram era, which required Shri Ram to come as avatar and declare Agni Pariksha as Adharm.
Once we accept this, we will have no problem in understanding why Agni Pariksha of Sita, a highly explosive event became part of Ramayan. And why Shri Ram and Mata Sita established Agni Pariksha as an ADHARM.


We have seriously NEVER tried to access the reason for Lords avatar as Shri Ram. Why? Because then the exploitation of females by religious personalities, prior to the birth of Shri Ram had to be exposed. To access the reason for avatar, we have to first understand the social and geographical condition of those times. Remember one thing; during the initial and early stages of growth of ANY society there has always been exploitation of females and weaker class of persons.

Kamdhenu fulfils needs without depleting natural resources

Kamdhenu is believed to have emerged from the depth of oceans as a result of churning of ocean. After the great flood, the sea rose to unimaginable levels and the wave formation which is also visualized as churning of ocean stopped. It is said that after a very long period of time, perhaps after lakhs of years, the wave formation or churning of ocean RESTARTED. This is symbolized by Kurma avatar of Lord Vishnu.


PARASHURAM came to save Vaanars from INHUMAN exploitation of Kingdoms

Before that we have to understand the social and geographic condition of Treta Yug, where EVOLVED HUMAN BEINGS, who were called VAANARS, were living in forest and there were Kingdoms too, were normal humans(as we know them) were living. Now to explain the purpose of Avatar of Parashuram, we have to take the social and geographic condition of Treta Yug into account.
What was THE PURPOSE OF PARASHURAM'S AVATAR? 


Who were these KSATRIYAS or Warriors, against which he has to raise his arms 21 times? Important thing to remember here is that Parashuram’s forces were FIGHTING TO KILL the enemy forces, and NOT just to defeat them. 


Having ascertained the extent of Barbarianism that prevailed which forced an Avatar as Parashuram, we now have to provide details. There is very little one must admit regarding the details about it in ancient history. The only thing that we have is forcefully taking away belongings of people living in jungle, for instance Kamdhenu was forcefully taken away by warriors of kingdoms. The simple meaning of Kamdhenu is one that fulfils every need.


INTERPRETATION and INTERPOLATION in Ramayan

As far as I am concerned my Ram was neither a criminal nor a hypocrite who would bless the abduction of Sita by requesting Agni Dev for safe keeping, and then ask for Agni Pariksha. Hindu text and Dharm has classified Ramayan and Mahabharat as ITIHAAS; the meaning of which is History. Since Hindus firmly believe that Lord Vishnu incarnates in Human form as and when the proportion of Adharm reaches unmanageable level, Ramayan as Itihaas assumes greater responsibility for proper information about Dharm. History can be narrative and in story form, so that it can be understood by a commoner. No serious interpretation is required. All we have to accept and understand is that important events in Shri Ram’s life will provide Dharm.
Considering the above circumstances it is indeed credible that Ramayan did not go through massive misinterpretation. However certain interpretations which were used till now must give way to more realistic and actual interpretations. At places Valmiki Ramayan contains explanations (which has nothing to do with actual event, and as such can be ignored), which were used earlier when less information was available, but why are they being used now is serious manipulation. Ex: During Agni Pariksha of Sita, Agni Dev testified about purity of Sita. Please note this is an explanation and has no use in information age.




Hanuman was a VAANAR and certainly not a Monkey

There is still some serious confusion whether Hanuman Jee was a monkey or a Vaanar. Before this question is answered, it is extremely important to translate the Sanskrit word Vaanar. Vaanar as the name suggests means person residing in Van or forest. We know that human being have evolved through the long process of nature called EVOLUTON. Hindu history, however, also accepts that the first lot of humans might be called Creator’s or GOD’s gift to this earth.

Comments: Though living in the forest and having a tail, Hanuman was able to receive education, was highly intelligent, and was as such respected in Vaanar community. So when Vaanars were being sent to search for Sita, and when they reached the coast, it was Hanuman who took upon himself to cross the sea.
It is usually believed that Hanuman crossed the sea by taking a big, long, huge and SUPER NATURAL jump. However this seems unlikely for two reasons

Staying in forest for a Prince and a Princess for 14 years is painful by any standard. And then the regular fight with Rakshas. And, finally the abduction of Mata Sita; As if this was not enough, the pain of watching Sita tormented by Agni Pariksha, and then disownment of pregnant Sita, after she came back to Ayodhya and became Queen of Ayodhya.

During PRE-INDEPENDENCE period stretching over 1000 years, the problems were extremely difficult, and these required extraordinary solution. We all know the history of that period. Young unmarried girls were forcefully, but officially, taken away in the HAREM of rich Muslims. Temples were being razed, and pressure on forceful conversion was severe and intense.

We know that from time immemorial religion has always been a seat of POWER. After independence this has become a symbol of POWER, WEALTH and POLITICAL Power. When one asks the simple understandable meaning of Dharm, they will start quoting from various scriptures, making it more complicated and confusing.

Saffron clad Sadhus, by definition are persons who have renounced worldly wealth and pleasure. But, unfortunately, a good number of these Sadhus amass wealth, usurp wealth, fight for wealth, enjoy wealth, and there are allegations (lot of them), that they commit crimes for wealth. If Government of India publishes statistics of leading wealth owning groups, then group of people owning industries, would definitely lead and Matth owners will be the proud second.

You have to first believe that Shri Ram was a historical figure and an incarnation of Vishnu and your belief MUST be ABSOLUTE. Secondly you must understand comprehensively that the incarnation of Lord Vishnu was to establish Dharm, and as such every important event in which Shri Ram or Mata Sita was involved would provide a Dharm. Sometimes two event clubbed together would constitute a Dharm.
“Agni pariksha and disownment of Sita after Shri Ram became King are connected”, he said. “Sita was disowned after Shri Ram rejected the result of Agni Pariksha, and that too after a fair trial”.

Shri Ram told him he was here to kill all the powerful and wicked Rakshas, who were tormenting human races, and that he would not rest till his mission is complete. He further told Ravan that there were other subtler Rakshas who need not be killed. He advised Ravan to make sure that the powerful and wicked Rakshas were sent to fight first, and that IF Ravan got killed, prior to this, then the destruction of entire Rakshas tribe was a possibility, which Ravan must avoid.

The problem with these figures is that they are not based on real time—by real time, one means, the time the modern world can understand. We understand that one year consists of 365.25 days (approx), we understand that one day shall have 24 hours, and so on and so forth. Unfortunately no one could yet fully comprehend and define the time used in Surya Sidhanta, and reconcile it with the time we use and understand. This has deprived the usage of information in Surya Sidhanta and Puraans for determining the age of earth and generally for all other research in astronomy.

It is extremely important that the oldest culture of the world must contribute in modern day research in astronomy. It is true that we have contributed a lot in various astronomical researches, but because of the problem of real time and time used for computation, our astronomy is not contributing much in determining age of the earth and other related issues.

The one religious book that has widely been misunderstood is GITA– the MOTIVATION speech that Shri Krishna gave to Arjun on the battle field. GITA HAS ADDED A NEW AND ADDITIONAL DIMENSION AS TO HOW RELIGION CAN ALSO BE PREACHED IN KALYUG. One must know and understand that Arjun was the toughest man ever to be born on earth. When at the start of Mahabharat, Arjun decided that he will not fight Mahabharat war, it required the caliber of Lord Krishna, and the motivation speech of Gita, to motivate him to fight the war.

Before Ramcharitmanas became popular, the entire Hindu scriptures were available, only in Sanskrit.

During that period, Hindu religion was fighting a losing battle for survival. Temples were razed by Muslim rulers on the plea that in their religion, destruction of places of worship of other religion had religious sanctity, forceful conversion was taking place, and unmarried young girls were forcibly taken away. To add to their woes, heavy “jizya” tax was also required to be paid by Hindus.

We have written history of more than 3000 years, and if we go through it, we will find that the decline of Hindu religion had started due to regular invasions of outsiders; initially for plundering, and later, not only for plundering but also staying in India and enjoying its wealth, and, by force enforcing their culture, religion. The other part, too, was also simple. One had to work, with honest and sincere intent, for the progress of his family, his larger family and the society (one can say mohalla, sector, sub sector, area) in which one was living, and show highest respect and regards to females. AND THAT WAS ALL. While the first part (prayer or worship) may or may not guarantee a ticket to Heavens (depending on one’s performance on other part, or one can say outward performance part), a sincere and honest effort in discharging ones duties for the progress of his family, his larger family and the society, guaranteed a ticket to Heavens

II  But one thing becomes absolutely clear; our God does not interfere in the matter of human beings, though he is Almighty. If HE feels certain corrections are required to contain Adharm, HE comes on this earth as Avatar. Rests of the time, we earthlings, have to move ahead, following the DHARM. In other word, put in more simply, Hindu gods, or God will not interfere in our life. We are on our own.

To understand this a bit further, that simply means Goddess Swarsati did not, and will never manipulate the mind of Manthara. Yes, since Shri Ram wanted to go to forest, it was left to him to arrange his passage for forest. And he did this with the help of Kaikai. Then the question that remains to be answered is; why did Goswami Tulsidas, brought the name of Manthara, as the prime culprit?


BALI VADH and MARYADAPURUSHOTTAM Ram

We must remember that for God there is never any Maryada, but a person is bound by traditions, customs and rituals. Maryada is a component of history and once we start judging a person on the bases of Maryadas of that period, we are doing this after we have accepted him as a historical figure of that time. In the case of Shri Ram this confusion must be cleared once and for ever. Some people believe that he was a historical figure, some feel otherwise. This article has been written with full belief and faith that he was a historical figure.

A person who follows the Maryadas of his time is called Maryada Purush. But a person, who goes beyond that, i.e. a person who not only follows Maryada, but is even willing to break them for the sake of larger cause such as humanity and nation is called MARYADAPURUSHOTTAM. Shri Ram is justly called MARYADAPURUSHOTTAM RAM.


BHARAT MEETS RAM

Bharat understood that there was no way it was possible as per existing Maryada, and also values dear to Shri Ram, that Shri Ram would even consider returning back, as his stay in forest was decided and (although unwillingly) endorsed by king Dasrath. Bharat was then told by Shri Ram, that similarly he must go and rule Ayodhya, as king, to satisfy the ‘Vachan’ of their departed father.

Several time this had been asked why Kaekai? Why not Manthara with Goddess Swarsati?
I have picture of Shri Ram at my pooja place because I believe that by merely having his picture at my pooja place, I would be relieved of all untimely obstruction in any work I am undertaking / involved in. How can I believe that Goddess Swarsati and Manthara could have done that without Shri Ram’s active participation? Here Ram was present in person and yet Manthara could manipulate the entire royal family. No Ram was actively involved in this and Kaekai did this on behest of her Ram.
As earlier said Kaekai loved and adored Ram. She also had the discriminating power to understand what was being asked for. She knew at heart that God does not belong to any one person, one family. HER Ram was on a mission, and HE needed her help for the sake of humanity and she decided to be on HIS side.


SWAMBER OF SITA

Janak informed the gathering about an accord which had been concluded recently between Shri Ram, the Prince of Ayodhya, and King Ravan, of Lanka, in his presence and the presence of Sage Vishvamitra (Read my earlier post Ramayan and History).
Under this accord Ravan had declared that he had no animosity against any Kingdom.
Ravan personally endorsed this and told everyone that he was equally concerned for all humanity and wanted a safe dismantling of Shiv Dhanush.
II Shri Ram, accompanied by Laxman and Maharishi Vishvamitra was in Janakpuri for the Swamber of Sita. They are here on a very clear mission. The mission was to ensure safe and proper dismantling of Shiv Dhanush- the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. But before reaching the Swamber site, Shri Ram already fell in love with Sita, when he accidently saw her in a garden, on the outskirts of city.

MY humble submission is that Hindus by and large are afraid to accept Shri Ram as human incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Once we accept Shri Ram as Avatar, who came on this earth for establishing Dharm, we then have to start looking at all important events in which he was involved differently and to find what the Dharm was, which HE tried to establish.

We the mortals know that Shri Ram was an incarnation of Vishnu and Sita that of Goddess Lakshmi. They performed this Leela so that humanity may never have to suffer such dastardly acts in future. IT IS ALSO ABSOLUTELY CLEAR THAT SHRI RAM COULD NOT HAVE DISOWNED SITA WITHOUT REJECTING AGNI PARIKSHA.


HINDU HISTORY... START OF A NEW KALP

One must remember that, as per Hindu history, Manu was the last king at the end of the kalp and carried the generation of people over sea to the next kalp. Whether one calls him Manu, Manush, or Man is insignificant. The thing to remember is Manu’s Smriti is meant for those DESPERATE people who were locked in extreme condition, over sea, fighting for survival. It has no place in current civilized life. To that extent it has been vastly misunderstood. Rules regarding caste, behavior thereon, would start making sense in that context only. It, however, is not relevant in today’s world. It is not meant to be. As of today, the Dharm laid down by Lord Ram and Lord Krishna need to be followed. But, unfortunately, no one tells us what the Dharm is.


However human civilization has always been cruel on other beings. They started exploiting these two legged animals (VAANARS) as slaves, and as animals The exploitation was cruel and inhuman to say the least. Here was the first batch of human beings of the new kalp-very pure and innocent , and the batch of survivors of the older kalp-whose antecedents were not known, were torturing them instead of welcoming them


RAMAYAN AND HISTORY

 After the birth of Shri Ram and when he was about 16 yrs old, Sage Vishwamitra came to meet King Dashrath and requested assistance to bring around Rakshas headed by Ravana to some sort of arrangements so that human being evolving from the animal kingdom, through the long process of humanization may get a chance to survive and grow as civilized societies all around the world. At present they were being eaten up as other animals by Rakshas and were called VANARS. Sage Vishwamitra requested that for his efforts (Yagna) to succeed Shri Ram be allowed to accompany him as he was the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. After much persuasion King Dashrath agreed.

Lakshman along with Shri Ram accompanied Sage Vishwamitra in the forest where Tadaka lived along with her follower. They succeeded in enticing her for war where Shri Ram easily killed her and destroyed her fortress. They also incapacitated Marichi another fearsome Rakshas who was an uncle of Ravana and persuaded him to bring Ravana for negotiation.
Without going into details, the following decisions were taken during negotiation with Ravana in which King Janak also participated as representative of all kingdoms:
